[Dar Es Salaam - Phuket] Day 9 -- Still Calm

The ninth day, it was still calm. We had nothing much to do, the boat went straight on motor on autopilot which, under these circumstances with charged batteries and no pressure on the rudder wouldn't have any power failures. With some slight wind directly on our nose we were not even making much speed. Such a calm day goes by much faster watching a movie or two. With "Open Water" we had made an excellent choice for our situation. It was better to stay under deck anyway. The deck was a mess by now. Since the wind had calmed so much we had those birds invading the boat during the night and some of them now during the days as well. Cleaning some of their droppings was one of the few useful tasks left for the the day.
